Dr. Paul M. Anain joined Buffalo Medical
Group, PC, in November 2007, and is board certified in
surgery and vascular surgery.
In addition to his position with BMG, Dr. Anain
is Chief of Vascular Surgery and director of the non-invasive
vascular lab at Sisters of Charity Hospital in Buffalo.
A graduate of Canisus College, he earned his
medical degree at the University at Buffalo (UB) School of Medicine
and Biomedical Sciences. Dr. Anain completed a residency in
general surgery at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, and fellowship
training in Vascular Surgery at UB, and Endovascular Surgery at the
University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
Dr. Anain is a Fellow in the American College of
Surgeons, and a member of the Society for Clinical Vascular Surgery,
Society of Endovascular Specialists, Society for Vascular Medicine
and Biology, and the Society of Vascular Surgery. He also is a
Diplomat with the American Board of Surgery and American Board of
Vascular Surgery. From 2003-2005 he served as president of the
Western New York Vascular Society.
Dr. Anain has authored and co-authored articles
for medical journals and publications and has presented his research
nationally and internationally.
