Dr. Walter A. Balon has been a member of the Buffalo Medical
Group, PC, since 1996, and also is a clinical assistant professor of
medicine at the University at Buffalo (UB) School of Medicine and
Biomedical Sciences.
He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine,
and is a member of the American College of Physicians and the Erie
County Medical Society.
Dr. Balon is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame, and earned
his medical degree at UB. He completed his Internal Medicine
specialty training at the University of Rochester School of Medicine
and Rochester General Hospital.
He is affiliated with Millard Fillmore Gates Circle Hospital and
Buffalo General Hospital where he is a member of the BGH Mortality
Committee. He previously served as a member of the hospital’s
Patient Care Committee.
