Dr. David E. Hoffman is a board certified
neurologist, who has been a member of the Buffalo Medical Group
staff since 1978. He is a diplomat of the American Board of
Electrodiagnostic Medicine, and during the last 30 years, he has
treated a variety of neurological problems, but his primary focus
has been Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.
A Buffalo, NY, native, Dr. Hoffman is a graduate of the University
at Buffalo (UB) School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. He also
did a three-year residency in neurology at University Hospitals of
Cleveland, Ohio, and studied electrodiagnostic medicine at the
Cleveland Clinic.
In addition to his Buffalo Medical Group practice, Dr. Hoffman is a
clinical assistant professor of neurology at the University at
Buffalo, and a member of the medical/dental staff at Buffalo General
Hospital.
He is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology,
and is a certified active member of the American Association of
Electromyography and Neuromuscular Medicine (AAENM). Dr. Hoffman has
written on Carpal Tunnel Syndrome in the Journal of the American
Medical Association.
