Dr. Vivian L. Lindfield joined the Buffalo Medical Group, PC, in 2005, and is board certified by the American Board of Surgery.
She earned her medical degree at the American
University of the Caribbean School of Medicine. She completed her
surgery specialty training at the University at Buffalo (UB) School
of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences and UB-affiliated hospitals.
Dr. Lindfield has authored and co-authored articles and abstracts
for numerous medical and surgical journals and publications.
She has lectured extensively on topics related to breast care and
breast cancer.
Dr. Lindfield is an assistant clinical professor of surgery at UB
and is affiliated with Erie County Medical Center, Kaleida Health
and the Catholic Health System. She is a member of the Erie County
Medical Society.
Prior to
beginning her studies in the field of medicine, Dr. Lindfield was an
accomplished figure skater who competed nationally and
internationally. As a professional she was a member of the Rhapsody
On Ice Touring Show. She also was involved with coaching and
mentoring young skaters throughout her career.
