Dr. Robert M. Moskowitz has been a medical oncologist with the Buffalo Medical Group since 1972, and also is a Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at the University at Buffalo (UB) School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences where he earned his medical degree.

He completed his specialty training at Buffalo General Hospital, and was awarded a research fellowship at Roswell Park Cancer Institute. Dr. Moskowitz subsequently served two years in the United States Navy as a lieutenant commander before receiving additional training at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI, under a clinical oncology fellowship.

He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Medical Oncology.

Currently, Dr. Moskowitz is affiliated with several Western New York hospitals including Buffalo General, Mercy and Kenmore Mercy, Millard Fillmore Gates and Millard Fillmore Suburban, DeGraff Memorial and Sheehan Memorial.
