Dr. Matthew J. O’Brien joined the Buffalo Medical
Group, PC in 1992, and is board certified by the American Board of
Internal Medicine. He also is certified by the National Board of
Medical Examiners.
He earned his medical degree at the University at Buffalo (UB)
School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, and completed his
Internal Medicine specialty training at UB and hospitals affiliated
with the university.
In addition to his Buffalo Medical Group practice, Dr. O’Brien has
been a clinical assistant professor at UB for more than 20 years.
A former chair of the BMG Board of Directors, Dr. O’Brien is
affiliated with Buffalo General Hospital.
