A member of the Buffalo Medical Group, PC, since 2003, Dr. James J. Piscatelli is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology, and also is certified by the American Board of Medical Examiners.
He is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame, and earned his medical degree at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. After an internship at Hartford (Conn.) Hospital, Dr. Piscatelli completed his Internal Medicine specialty training at Yale New Haven (Conn.) Hospital. He was awarded a fellowship in gastroenterology at the University at Buffalo (UB) School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, and trained at UB-affiliated hospitals in Buffalo.
Dr. Piscatelli has authored or co-authored research articles for medical publications in the United States and United Kingdom.
He is affiliated with several Western New York hospitals including Buffalo General, DeGraff Memorial, Lake Shore and Kenmore Mercy.
