Dr. Blaze Sekovski joined the Buffalo Medical Group, PC, in 1994,
and is board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular
Disease. He has been a clinical assistant professor of Medicine at
the University at Buffalo (UB) School of Medicine and Biomedical
Sciences since 1986.
Prior to joining BMG, Dr. Sekovski was director of the
Non-Invasive Cardiovascular Laboratory at Erie County Medical Center
(ECMC). Until 2003, Dr. Sekovski was Chief of the Division of Cardiology at Sisters
of Charity Hospital.
He earned his medical degree at Stanford University and completed
specialty training in Internal Medicine at UB and affiliated
hospitals. In addition, he received a fellowship in Cardiology and
trained at the university and hospitals associated with UB.
Dr. Sekovski is a member of the American Medical Association and is a Fellow of the American
College of Cardiology. He has authored or co-authored articles and
abstracts on his research and clinical practice in several medical
journals and publications.
Dr. Sekovski is
primarily affiliated with Sisters Hospital and the Kaleida Hospitals
with privileges at Kenmore Mercy and Buffalo Mercy Hospitals for
coverage purposes.
