Dr. Amarjit Singh has been a member of the Buffalo Medical Group,
PC, since 1986, and is board certified by the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery.
He is head of the Division of Colon & Rectal Surgery in the
Department of Surgery at Buffalo General Hospital, and also is a
clinical assistant professor of surgery at the University at Buffalo
(UB) School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences.
Dr. Singh is a graduate of Punjab University, India, and earned his
medical degree at the Medical College of Amritsar, India. He
completed specialty training in surgery at the Bronx (NY) Municipal
Hospital and Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He was awarded a
fellowship in Colon & Rectal Surgery and trained at UB and Buffalo
General Hospital.
He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, American Society
of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, and the American Society of Colon &
Rectal Surgeons. He also is a member of the Erie County Medical
Society, New York Medical Society and the American Medical
Association.
In addition to Buffalo General, Dr. Singh is affiliated with Mercy
and St. Joseph’s hospitals.
