A member of the Buffalo Medical Group, PC since 2003, Dr. Lori E. Ullman also is
an assistant professor of clinical dermatology at the University at Buffalo (UB)
School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences.
She is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is a Fellow of
the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society for Dermatologic
Surgery.
A graduate of Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Dr. Ullman attended
Dartmouth Medical School and Brown University Medical School where she earned
her medical degree. She completed her dermatology specialty training at Tufts
University School of Medicine in Boston, MA. In 1999, Dr. Ullman was recognized
as a "Top Doctor" in the state of Rhode Island.
Her areas of proficiency and special interest include, but are not limited to:

Laser treatment of port wine birthmarks; such
vascular skin lesions as telangiectasia and rosacea; tattoos,
excess hair, and certain pigmented lesions of the skin

problems related to internal diseases, and birthmarks

Dr. Ullman's research activities included serving as principal
investigator in a multi-center study to assess the value of a
pre-examination questionnaire to determine the necessity of
full-skin examinations, and she was a co-investigator in multiple
clinical research studies of dermatologic applications related to
photodynamic therapy.
She has lectured widely on various dermatology topics including, but
not limited to melanoma and skin cancer; cosmetic dermatology, and
wound healing.
