Dr. Laura Ureta joined the Buffalo Medical Group, PC, in 1992,
and is board certified in Dermatology and Dermatopathology. She has
a particular interest in general dermatology, hair and nail
disorders, autoimmune disease, women’s health and skin rejuvenation.
She earned her medical degree at Cornell University Medical College,
and completed her dermatology specialty training at the University
at Buffalo (UB) School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. Dr.
Ureta also was awarded a fellowship in dermatopathology, and trained
at UB and hospitals affiliated with the university.
Dr. Ureta is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and
American Society of Dermatopathology, and is a member of the Erie
County Medical Society, New York State Medical Society and the
Buffalo-Rochester Dermatological Society.
She has been an attending physician at Buffalo General Hospital
since 1992.
