Dr. Eric J. Waffner has been a member of the buffalo Medical Group,
PC, since 2004, and is board certified by the American Board of
Internal Medicine.
A graduate of the University of Notre Dame, Dr. Waffner earned his
medical degree cum laude at the University at Buffalo (UB) School of
Medicine and Biomedical Sciences where he was a member of Alpha
Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.
He completed his specialty training in Internal Medicine at UB-affiliated
hospitals, and was awarded a fellowship in gastroenterology at the
University of Rochester Medical Center.
A member of the American College of Physicians, Dr. Waffner has
published his research in the American Journal of Physiology-GI.
Active in the community, he is a member of the Buffalo Zoological
Society, the Albright-Knox Art Gallery, the Lexington Real Foods
Community Co-op, and has served as a volunteer at the West Side
Health Clinic and Friends of Night People Medical Clinic. Dr.
Waffner also participated in the Ride for Roswell on several
occasions.
