Dr. Daisy Wen, an attending physician at the Catholic Health
System's Sisters of Charity Hospital in Buffalo since 2001, joined
Buffalo Medical Group's Department of Internal Medicine, in November
2009.
Board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, she
earned her medical degree at Peking Union Medical College in
Beijing, China. Dr. Wen completed her internal medicine
residency training at the University of Buffalo School of Medicine
and Biomedical Sciences, and affiliated hospitals. Her
training also included medical research at Toronto General Hospital.
As an attending physician at Sisters Hospital, Dr. Wen was
dedicated to providing high quality and comprehensive primary care
services. In addition, she also taught and supervised medical
residents for the Catholic Health System's Internal Medicine
Residency Program.
In 2002, Dr. Wen was awarded the Medical Medal of Honor for
Dedication to Inner-City Health Care while working at Sisters
Hospital.
She is a member of the American College of Physicians, the
Medical Society of the State of New York, the Erie County Medical
Society, and the Catholic Independent Practice Association of
Western New York.
