Andrew Engelbach-Schafer, D.P.T.
What does treating people well mean to you?
Treating people well is listening and working with people, educating them, and providing them with tools to improve their lives. It means truthfully having a discussion with them on potential consequences of their lifestyle and offering information and tools to allow them to live life to its fullest.
In your opinion, what makes a successful patient-provider relationship?
Honesty and listening.
What is one thing people are surprised to learn about you?
I have an internal fear of heights that I work hard at overcoming with hiking, climbing mountains and rock climbing, but cannot get myself to go on roller coasters with large drops!
