Office hours differ among our physicians, and many of them offer early
morning or evening appointments for your convenience. In addition, several
of our ancillary services offer Saturday hours. We also offer BMG
Extended Care services at 295 Essjay Road in Williamsville, that are
available to BMG primary care patients Monday through Friday from 9 am to 8
pm, and Saturday from 9 am to 1 pm. Our Orchard Park office at 3345
Southwestern Boulevard, offers BMG Extended Care from 9 am to 1 pm
every Saturday. Please check with your doctor’s office for any changes in
the hours of operation for BMG Extended Care.

During severe winter weather conditions, Buffalo Medical Group uses the
following radio and television stations to announce the closing of its
offices: WBEN-AM, WWKB-AM, WNED-AM and FM, WBFO-FM, WGRZ-TV, WKBW-TV, WIVB-TV
and the 24-hour cable station, YNN Buffalo. Please listen to or view
weather-related messages on these stations before attempting to travel to a
BMG location.
Our
24-hour telephone number is 630-1000. Telephone calls received after hours
are handled by our Answering Service. An operator will direct your call to
the covering physician(s) and your call will be returned as soon as
possible. We have physicians on call at all times.
Refilling Prescriptions
Requests for prescription refills should be made during office hours. Please
have
your pharmacy’s name and telephone number available when calling the office.
The proper spelling of the medication, dosage, and frequency of doses, as
well as the amount of refills you are requesting, will help expedite your
request.
BMG patients also may request medication refills by using
MyBMGChart.
Emergency Situations
In the event of an emergency or life-threatening situation, please call 911
immediately.
For
an urgent problem after office hours, please call our switchboard at
630-1000 and your physician or the covering physician will be paged to
return your call.
For
non-emergency situations, please call during office hours.
Generally, office hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, but vary in some
cases. You may want to check with your physician's
office for its hours of operation. Please remember that your
doctor may be with another patient when you call, and therefore, he or she
may be delayed in returning your call.
