Dr. Nagaraja Rao Sridhar has been a nephrologist with the Buffalo Medical Group, PC, since 2000, and also is a clinical assistant professor of Medicine at the University at Buffalo (UB) School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences.

Board certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology, Dr. Sridhar also is accredited by the United Network of Organ Sharing (UNOS) in kidney and kidney/pancreas transplant.

Dr. Sridhar earned his medical degree at St. John’s Medical College in Bangalore, India, and also did his internal medicine residency training at Government Medical College in India. He completed internal medicine specialty training at Mount Carmel Medical Center in Columbus, OH., and earned a fellowship in nephrology and hypertension at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.

He is a member of the American College of Physicians, American Society of Nephrology, the Transplantation Society, and the American Society of Transplant Surgeons. In addition, he is a member of the Organ Advisory Board for Upstate New York Transplant Services.

Dr. Sridhar has authored or co-authored many research articles and abstracts for medical journals and publications, and has lectured and done presentations at numerous medical meetings and conferences.

In addition to Buffalo General and other hospitals within Kaleida Health, Dr. Sridhar also is affiliated with Veterans Administration Medical Center and Erie County Medical Center.
