Michael Battaglia has been a member of Buffalo Medical Group, PC,
since 1990, and is Board certified in Neurology and Psychiatry. In
addition to his practice with BMG, he also is an associate professor
of neurology at the University at Buffalo School of Medicine and
Biomedical Sciences.
He earned his doctor of osteopathic medicine at
New England College of Osteopathic Medicine, and completed his
residency in neurology at Cleveland Clinic Foundation, serving as
Chief Resident in his final year. He studied electrodiagnostic
medicine under the guidance of Dr. Asa J. Wilbourn, a nationally
recognized EMG authority and mentor.
Dr. Battaglia has extensive experience and
training in the evaluation and management of neuromuscular disease
using electrodiagnostic techniques (EMG). This includes expertise in
treating such disorders as Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.
He is a member of the American Academy of
Neurology, American Medical Association, American Osteopathic
Association, Medical Society of the State of New York, and the
Physician Committee for Responsible Medicine.
He is affiliated with Kaleida Health hospitals.
