A member of the Buffalo Medical Group, PC, since
2002, Dr. Andrew W. Halsdorfer is certified by the American
Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians. In addition to his medical practice,
he serves as Medical Director of the BMG After Hours Care Center.
He earned his doctor of osteopathic medicine at the New York College
of Osteopathic Medicine, and completed his Family Practice specialty
training at the University at Buffalo School of Medicine and
Biomedical Sciences and Sisters of Charity Hospital. He served as
Chief Resident in his final year of training.
Dr. Halsdorfer is vice president of the Western New York Osteopathic
Medical Society, and is a member of the American Osteopathic
Association, American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, New
York State Osteopathic Medical Society, and Erie County Medical.
A member of the Catholic Independent Practice Association (CIPA),
Dr. Halsdorfer is a member of the organization’s Medical Management,
Physician Communication and Education committees. He also serves on
the BMG Information Technology Committee.
