Dr. Frank Voelker joined the Buffalo Medical Group, PC, in 2012,
following a history of seeing patients in private practice. He is
board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
He is a graduate of the University at Buffalo (UB) School of
Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences where he received a Bachelor of
Science degree in Pharmacy. Dr. Voelker earned his doctor of
Osteopathic Medicine at the University of New England College of
Osteopathic Medicine, Biddeford Maine, and completed a residency in
Internal Medicine at the UB School of Medicine and Biomedical
Sciences and Millard Fillmore Hospitals.
Dr. Voelker is a member of the American College of Physicians, and
the American Society of Internal Medicine.
A Western New York native, Dr. Voelker was in solo private practice
for a number of years in the Town of Tonawanda, and later based in
Williamsville, NY with a focus on preventative care and
evidence-based treatment.
Dr. Voelker is affiliated with Kaleida Health hospitals.
On a personal note, Dr. Voelker is an Amherst resident who is
married with one son. He enjoys the outdoors and especially likes
skiing, snow shoeing, and bird watching.
