Why did you decide to go into medicine:
During my sophomore year in college, I watched a documentary called ‘Escape Fire’ that illustrated the power of lifestyle changes to prevent chronic diseases and emphasized the importance of primary care; this sparked my passion for preventive medicine.
Favorite book or movie:
Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom.
To me, treating people well means:
Treating people well means partnering with patients to understand their goals and values while establishing strong, long term relationships so that I can individualize my decisions based on personal needs.
