Kevin Lyon, D.O.
Primary Care, Family Medicine
To me, treating people well means…
Giving everyone kindness and respect. When it comes to patient care, I feel it is so important to give patients my undivided attention. They are taking time out of their busy lives to come see me, and I want my patient’s to know that when I am in the room with them, nothing else is more important.
Favorite/most memorable patient moment:
I was taking care of an 8 year old girl who was admitted to the hospital and was very scared about an upcoming procedure. She saw my blue medical gloves, and being a huge fan of Disney’s Frozen, she thought they were magic “Elsa gloves”. So after a little searching, I gave her the smallest pair of medical gloves I could find. She was overjoyed with her own magic gloves and all of her fears vanished.
When I’m not working, you can find me…
Hopefully either golfing, relaxing by the pool or watching a Bills game. #BillsMafia
Favorite guilty pleasure:
I make a mean crème brûlée. Seriously, it’s phenomenal.
