Buffalo Medical Group is a physician-directed, community-wide organization committed to improving the health of its patients by delivering high quality, cost-effective and accessible health care.

All BMG physicians are either Board Certified or eligible for Board Certification in their respective specialties. Our physicians have a long tradition of high quality care and innovation as well as involvement in research and teaching. Many of the Group’s physicians hold clinical appointments at the University at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences.

Buffalo Medical Group is the first health care provider in Western New York to receive National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) Level 3 recognition as a Physician Practice Connections-Patient Centered Medical Home (PPC-PCMH) for all of its primary care offices.

BMG’s primary care physicians and staff received the highest NCQA recognition for using information systems to measure practice-wide clinical quality and improve clinical outcomes at the point of care.

Buffalo Medical Group offers primary care services at six locations in Erie County, including 85 High Street, Buffalo; 295 Essjay Road and 325 Essjay Road, Williamsville; 3345 Southwestern Boulevard, Orchard Park; 2741 Transit Road in Elma, and 2121 Main Street in Buffalo.

Physician Practice Connections-Patient Centered Medical Home recognizes those medical practices that use information systematically to improve the quality of patient care. Numerous studies, including the Institute of Medicine’s Fostering Rapid Advances in Health, have called for the systematic use of health care information, including more widespread adoption of information technology such as electronic medical records. Buffalo Medical Group began implementing EMR technology among its primary care physicians in 2007.

BMG physicians are affiliated with Kaleida Health and Catholic Health System hospitals, Erie County Medical Center, Roswell Park Cancer Institute, and other hospitals in the region.

Buffalo Medical Group’s reputation as a premier provider of diagnostic and treatment services is reflected in the fact that the organization operates its own New York State Health Department approved infusion center, as well as laboratory, x-ray, nuclear medicine, physical therapy and radiation therapy departments.

Our three primary sites include 85 High Street, located on the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus; 295 Essjay Road in Williamsville, and 3345 Southwestern Boulevard in Orchard Park. In addition, BMG has more than 25 satellite locations throughout Western New York, to ensure accessible services and medical care for our patients.
