The Department of Nephrology provides adult patients with comprehensive evaluation and treatment of acute and chronic kidney disease.
Our board certified physicians offer diagnostic testing to evaluate kidney function, consultations for all aspects of renal disease, renal biopsies, and they coordinate a full spectrum of inpatient, outpatient and home dialysis services.
BMG nephrologists collaborate with renal transplant surgeons to provide consultations prior to kidney transplantation, as well as post-transplant follow-up care.
All Buffalo Medical Group kidney disease specialists are affiliated with numerous area hospitals including Buffalo General where non-invasive, extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy is performed on patients with kidney stones.
Nephrology services are offered Monday through Friday at four BMG locations: 85 High Street and 418 Abbott Road in Buffalo; 295 Essjay Drive, Williamsville, and 621
Tenth Street in Niagara Falls.
