The Buffalo Medical Group’s team of board-certified or board eligible OB/GYN specialists offers a comprehensive array of services for women of all ages, using the latest diagnostic and treatment techniques.
Services include, but are not limited to, normal to high risk obstetrical care, annual gynecologic examinations, treatment of abnormal pap smears, laparoscopic surgery, various other gynecological procedures, and evaluations for bladder problems and urinary incontinence.
The specialists treat such conditions as premenstrual syndrome, endometriosis, abnormal uterine bleeding, fibroids, uterine growths, pelvic pain, prolapsed uterus, infertility and ovarian cysts. They also are involved in disease prevention, diagnosis and treatment of sexually transmitted infections, menopausal management, family planning, and patient education and counseling.
BMG obstetricians deliver newborns at Sisters of Charity and Mercy hospitals.
OB/GYN services are available at five locations in Erie County: 6245 Sheridan Drive, Williamsville; 3345 Southwestern Boulevard, Orchard Park; 85 High Street and 410 Abbott Road in Buffalo, and 85 Wehrle Drive in Cheektowaga.
Office hours at the Sheridan Drive site are Monday, 8 am to 2:45 pm; Wednesday, 11 am to 5 pm; Thursday, 8 am to 3:15 pm, and Friday, 8 am to 3:45 pm. High Street hours are Monday, 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, and the second and fourth Wednesday, 7:30 am to noon. At the Abbott Road location, the office hours are 8:30 am to 5 pm on Tuesday; 9 am to 6 pm on Thursday; 7:30 am to 5 pm on Friday, and 1 to 5 pm on the second and fourth Wednesday.
Specialists are available at the Orchard Park location Monday through Thursday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, and from 8 am to 2:45 pm on alternate Fridays. At the Wehrle Drive site, office hours are 3 to 6:45 pm on Monday and Wednesday; 9:30 am to 1 pm, Tuesday and Thursday, and 9:30 am to noon on alternate Fridays.
