Dr. S. Ray Ogra has been a member of the Buffalo Medical Group,
PC, since 1999, and also is an assistant professor of clinical
medicine at the University at Buffalo (UB) School of Medicine and
Biomedical Sciences.
Dr. Ogra is board certified by the American Board of Internal
Medicine, and also is certified by the National Board of Medical
Examiners.
As a hospitalist, he is a hospital-based physician who provides
internal medicine care to BMG inpatients at Buffalo General and
Millard Fillmore Suburban hospitals.
He earned his medical degree at UB and completed his Internal
Medicine specialty training at the university and UB-affiliated
hospitals. During his final year of training, he served as Chief
Medical Resident at Buffalo General Hospital, and received the
Siegel Award for Teaching Excellence.
Dr. Ogra has particular interests that include palliative care
medicine, pain management, and patient safety.
He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians,
American College of Physicians, American Society of Internal
Medicine, American Medical Association, and the National Association
of Inpatient Physicians.
